BALANGA CITY– The top-performing businesses in this component city were given citations and awards last Friday during the 2nd InvestBalanga Awards held at the Emiliana Hall.
Bataan Second District Representative Jose Enrique Garcia III and Balanga City Mayor Francis Anthony Garcia led the distribution of the awards to the Top 25 Real Property Taxpayers and the Top 25 Businesses.
The event was organized by the City Economic Investment and Development Office (CEIDO) to give gratitude to the business owners’ contribution to the city’s bullish economic climate.
“Nagpapasalamat po tayo sa lahat ng mga businesses na patuloy na nagtitiwala sa ating Lungsod at makasisiguro po kayo na lahat ng mga buwis na ibinabayad ninyo ay nagagamit natin ng maayos sa pagbibigay ng mga basic services sa ating mga kababayang Balangueño,” Mayor Garcia told local newsmen.
Vista Mall Bataan was awarded as the Top Real Property Taxpayer; Coca Cola Beverages got the Highest Gross Sales; Jollibee Balanga branches being operated by the De Guzman Group emerged as the Top Employer of 2018 while Landbank Balanga branch was awarded as the Top Performing Commercial Bank; and Bataan Capitol’s CEMBA was cited as the Cooperative Lender.
In his brief speech, Congressman Joet Garcia updated the audience and guests about the latest House Bills he filed and passed into laws including the Authority of the Freeport Area (AFAB) Law Amendments, etc.
