Bataan LGU signs MOU with British EdTech firm

BATAAN CAPITOL – Bataan Governor Abet S. Garcia on Monday afternoon led the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Provincial Government of Bataan and Zzish Ltd. represented by Mr. Alessandro Cattani, Business Development & Partnerships Director of Zzish in London.

Zzish is a powerful tool for accessing and storing student data in real-time thru an app called Quizalize. It stores class records in one place to easily track students’ progress and analyze critical learning gaps.

The said company is a pioneering education technology company with extensive experience from high profile roles at Google, Discovery Education, BBC, Twig and more.

Its founder and CEO was Charles Wiles, Google’s first Product Manager outside the USA, with degrees from Oxford and Cambridge Universities, and a PHD in artificial intelligence (AI) and Robotics.

“This technology primarily tutulungan ang teacher makita in real time yung performance ng students. So with that mas matutulungan nila yung nga students kung sino ba’ng nahuhuli at kung sino ang magagaling. Everything is done digitally, yung paggawa ng exams and yung results mas madali,” Governor Garcia explained to newsmen.

Garcia said that starting next month, Zzish will start to rollout the project in both schools division of Bataan and Balanga City.
