BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Bureau of Internal Revenue District Office 20 (BIR Bataan RDO 20) has announced, Thursday morning, about some changes in their daily transactions.

“We are now declogging our district office on the issuance of certificates of tax exemptions to our students visiting our office, they can now transact in their respective municipal halls where our collection officers are assigned,” Espinosa told the radio show anchors Zeny Soriano and this reporter.
Espinosa added that their chief, Maria Thelma Pulhin of BIR RDO 20, has decided to reduce everyday transactions in their office by diverting the said student affairs for scholars and other related transactions to their collection officers in 11 towns and one component city of this province.
The influx of students at the BIR office here is for their tax exemption applications in relation to the Iskolar ng Bayan procedures
Meanwhile, Espinosa also reported that the BIR RDO 20’s tax collection target for the year 2019 is P3.9 billion.
“For this month of March, our collection target is 250 million more or less and we are expecting to reach that target before the end of his month,” Espinosa said.
