BM Teri Onor leads Abucay Brigada Eskwela 2019, launches ‘LOVE TERI’ advocacy

ABUCAY, Bataan — Bataan Provincial Board Member Dexter “Teri Onor” Dominguez led the “Brigada Eskwela 2019” kick-off at the Bonifacio Camacho National High School and Salian Elementary School here, Monday morning.

BM Dominguez, during his speech, reported about his latest projects and programs to all the stakeholders involved in the Brigada.

This year’s week-long (May 20-26) Brigada Eskwela 2019 is running on the theme “Matatag na Bayan Para sa Maunlad na Paaralan.”

Brigada Eskwela is being held annually, headed by the Department of Education, in order to ensure clean safe and disaster-prepared schools – bringing all sectors nationwide to help improve public schools.

The third-termer solon also launched his latest advocacy that summarizes all his programs and projects for his townmates called “LOVE TERI” which means: “Livelihood and skills development program, Organized climate change action plan, Valuable health care service, Education for all, Transparency, Equality, Resiliency, Integrity.”

“Ang LOVE TERI po ay nakapaloob lahat ng nasa puso ko para sa aking mga kababayan, bagamat ako ay nasa last term na ay magiging aktibo pa rin po ako sa pagtulong sa aking nga kababayan,” Dominguez told his townmates.

As part of his LOVE TERI projects, BM Dominguez is scheduled to donate on Saturday a brand new van that will serve as school service of Bonifacio Camacho National High School and all its Senior High School students from upland villages.

“Ibinigay din po natin ang magandang balita na isa sa mga proyekto ng LOVE TERI na inilunsad natin ngayong araw na ito, ay ang pagpapatayo ng  2 storey,  10-classroom building sa Salian Elementary School na ang pondo ay atin pong nahingi sa Department of Education,” Dominguez told his townmates during the said school’s Brigada Eskwela.

BM Dominguez recently led the groundbreaking ceremonies of additional school buildings not just in different public schools of Abucay but also in other municipalities citing the funds and help he got from some of his generous friends from outside the province.

And before the year ends, probably by the month of October, BM Dominguez also confirmed he will donate a brand new ambulance as part of his LOVE TERI advocacy that will be used by his townmates or even those people in need in nearby municipalities especially during emergency situations.

In the past years, BM Dominguez, or “Bokal Teri” to those close to him, has been actively supporting the relief goods distribution efforts of the province and LGUs thru the help funds and donations from his friends in show business and politics.

“Sa susunod pong magkaroon po tayo ng mga kalamidad, ang distribution po ng ating mga tulong sa inyo ay ihahatid na po namin sa mismong mga tahanan ninyo. Hindi na po namin kayo papupuntahin sa isang lugar para pumila at maghintay ng matagal,” Dominguez assured the people of Abucay.

Bokal Teri also vowed to be more active in all the activities for the upliftment of his townmates’ economic conditions by providing loans and livelihood projects to them.

“Tutulungan po natin lalo na yung mga asawa ng ating mga tricycle drivers na magkaroon po sila ng karagdagang pangkabuhayan,” BM Dominguez added.

As he steps down on June 30, Bokal Teri said he will be one of the consultants of the Provincial Government of Bataan led by reelected Governor Abet Garcia.
