BOC Port of Subic gets recognition for 2020 performance

Subic Bay Freeport – The Bureau of Customs – Port of Subic was awarded with a plaque of recognition during the Bureau’s 119th Founding Anniversary last Feb 9, 2021 for a successful performance in border security, trade facilitation and surplus on revenue collection for the year 2020.

The Port was significantly commended for its collection performance for 2020 with an actual revenue collection of Php28,677,000,000.00 including surplus of Php3.38Billion with a positive deviation of 13.4%.

It was also given recognition for their unwavering efforts in apprehending all illegal commodities and commitment to duty in protecting the borders.

The plaque of recognition was presented by Department of Finance Secretary, Carlos G. Dominguez, DOF Undersecretary Antonette C. Tionko and Commissioner Rey Leonardo B Guerrero. It was received by the Port’s District Collector, Maritess T. Martin.

BOC Port of Subic District Collector, Coll. Martin vowed to continue supporting and abide by the directives of Commissioner Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero in enforcing stringent measures against prohibited commodities and protect the country’s borders from illegal activities.
