Three drug pushers were killed while 10 other drug suspects were arrested in drug raids conducted by Bulacan PNP on Wednesday and Thursday.
Bulacan PNP director PCol. Chito Bersaluna identified the slain three suspects as Mark De Guzman, 29 years old and his cohort identified as a certain Christian Santos, 25 years old, both residents of J.P. Rizal St., Brgy. Sta. Barbara, Baliwag, Bulacan and Joeben Galicia, 30 years old, single, a resident of Sitio Little Baguio, Brgy. Poblacion, Baliwag, Bulacan.
Investigation showed that after the drug transaction in Brgy. Sta. Ines, Plaridel, Bulacan on Thursday morning at about 12:20am, suspects De Guzman and Santos fired towards the police officers upon sensing they were dealing with undercover agents. The police officers returned fire killing the suspects.
Recovered were 19 pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing “shabu”; two caliber 38 shooter revolvers and the marked money.
Baliwag MPS reported that suspect Galicia fired towards the drug enforcement personnel of Baliwag MPS who were about to arrest him after a drug deal in Brgy. Pinagbarilan, Baliwag, Bulacan. The police officers returned fire killing the suspect instantly while his unidentified cohorts on board a black Yamaha Mio Soul without plate number escaped towards Brgy. Pagala, Baliwag, Bulacan.
Recovered in the crime scene are one caliber .38 Squires Bingham revolver and the illegal drugs which were brought to the Bulacan Crime Laboratory.
The suspect is included in the ‘Top Ten Sibat Target’ of Baliwag MPS and known for his involvement in the rampant selling of illegal drugs in Brgy. Pinagbarilan, Baliwag, Bulacan and other adjacent barangays.
Meanwhile, 10 other drug suspects were arrested in series of anti-illegal drug raids conducted by Obando, Calumpit, Meycauayan, Pandi, Hagonoy, Bocaue, and Guiguinto MPS.
The following suspects were arrested while in the act of selling illegal drugs to undercover agents: Lambert Carbon, 27 years old; Danifer Cabague, 35; Bob Aldrin Enriquez, 35; Ronnel Victor Brual, 29; Ronnel Crisostomo, 32; Pedro Jose Sopeña, 50; Genaro Bondoc, 39; Joshua Pagtalunan, 18 and two minors both 16-year old boy and girl.
Seized from them were 20 plastic sachets of “shabu”; two plastic sachets of dried “marijuana” leaves and marked money.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Crime Laboratory for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for Violation of Section 5 and Section 11, Article II of RA 9165 (Dangerous Drugs Acts of 2002) is being readied against them.
