Bulakenyo kids can now make the most out of their summer vacation as the Provincial Government of Bulacan (PGB) through its Provincial Youth, Sports and Public Employment Service Office (PYSPESO) in cooperation with the Bulacan Sports Council Federation,
Inc. (BSCFI) opens this year’s Summer Sports Clinic.
Instructors from the BSCFI will give lessons in different sports events such as swimming, athletics, arnis, aikido, badminton, basketball, table tennis, volleyball, taekwondo, chess, lawn tennis, gymnastics, football, futsal and dance sports starting on April 3 to
May 12, 2018.
Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado encouraged the parents to enroll their children in the said summer sports clinic and underscored the importance of early training in shaping their children’s future.
“Maganda na bata pa lang ay nagsasanay na sila dahil maaaring sa sports clinic na ito pa manggaling ang mga susunod na kampeon sa Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association meet, State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association o maging sa Palarong Pambansa,” the governor said.
All the sports activities will be held at the Bulacan Sports Complex except for badminton lesson which will be held at Red Oil Badminton Court in Barangay Tikay.
Alvarado added that the swimming lessons will now take place at the Bulacan Sports Complex olympic-size swimming pool and no longer in private pools.
Meanwhile, PYSPESO Head Elizabeth Alonzo said each sport has a set of requirements in terms of age, schedules and batches, venues and registration fees.
