Capitol commends gov’t agencies, LGUs for zero casualty during ‘Karding’

The Capitol commended national government agencies and local government units for managing effectively and leading decisively during the onslaught of Super Typhoon Karding as Bataan recorded zero casualties and injuries.

Public Storm Warning Signal Number 4 was raised in the towns of Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Morong, Orani, Samal, and Abucay.

“We recognize the consolidated and unified efforts showcased by our dedicated public servants during challenging times such as the one imposed to us by super typhoon Karding, at the same time we truly give thanks to God for the way Bataan was spared from the effects of the super typhoon,” Governor Jose Enrique Garcia III said.

The provincial government also made sure that food and other supplies were adequate to cater to the needs of affected residents and were dispatched swiftly.

About 980 pre-emptively evacuated families were already sent home immediately after Signal Number 4 was lifted before noon last Monday.
