TARLAC CITY — Provincial government of Tarlac provided financial aid to the 511 barangays and their tanods as they remain in the frontline in the battle against coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Each barangay got PhP20,000 while each tanod got PhP500.
“I know that this small amount would be of big help to your barangays and constituents. To our barangay tanods who work tirelessly in ensuring the safety of their respective barangays, this is our help for your family,” Governor Susan Yap said.
The governor also asked for the cooperation of the Punong Barangays and tanods in combating COVID-19.
As of April 3, Tarlac has 19 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
