CDC, GSIS Pampanga ink MOA for better workers’ benefits

CLARK FREEPORT — Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera and Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Pampanga Branch Manager Arlene R. Villanueva have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) paving way for better GSIS benefits to CDC officers and employees.

The MOA signing on Nov. 17 was witnessed by CDC Vice-President for Administration and Finance Jose Miguel de la Rosa, Assistant Vice-President for Administration Atty. Bonifacio O. Tarenio Jr. and Michelle Reyes, Division Chief of the GSIS Frontline Services Department.

The MOA would entitle CDC officers and employees to avail of the GSIS Multi-Purpose Loan Flex Program, which affords a loan program of up to 14 times of the basic monthly salary and payment terms of up to 15 years depending on the amount of contribution of the employee member.

Atty. Devanadera welcomed this development emphasizing the consistent desire of CDC to look after the welfare of its personnel and allow every opportunity for officers and employees to maximize GSIS benefits. Villanueva expressed her appreciation to CDC for its continued partnership to enhance the benefits of CDC officers and employees.

The MOA comes before the GSIS Pagpupugay sa mga Kaagapay ceremony on 29 November 2023 recognizing partner government agencies who have supported and contributed to the efforts of GSIS in achieving its commitment to provide excellent service to its stakeholders. CDC is among the GSIS’ Outstanding Government Owned and Controlled Corporation partners to be awarded during the said event of the GSIS.
