CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga – The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has renewed its lease agreement with Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Medical Center – Clark, Inc., to allow the continued operation and planned expansion of the hospital within the Freeport Zone.
The renewal is part of CDC’s effort to ensure the availability of essential services, including healthcare, to support the needs of workers, residents, and business locators in Clark.
CDC President and CEO Agnes Devanadera said the agreement reflects the agency’s commitment to build a community that promotes work-life balance and supports both economic and social development.
“We are developing Clark not just as a hub for investors but as a community where people can experience work-life balance,” she said.
Mt. Carmel – Clark operates as a 24-hour primary hospital and is a branch of the tertiary hospital under the Mt. Carmel Group of Companies.
Its current facilities include emergency services, diagnostic laboratories, a pharmacy, radiology services such as ultrasound, X-ray, and CT scan, dialysis and heart centers, endoscopy and laparoscopy units, consultation offices, confinement rooms, and a convenience store.
Under the agreement, the hospital will proceed with plans to expand its primary services with a focus on preventive medicine.
The expansion also includes additional dialysis services under the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation Z-benefit packages, the establishment of a geriatric center, and the development of commercial spaces.
For her part, Mt. Carmel – Clark President Monet Briones said the hospital remains committed to provide healthcare to all sectors in the Freeport.
“Each patient reminds us why this partnership matters, because everyone deserves access to competent, compassionate, and cheerful care,” she said. (CLJD/MJSC, PIA Region 3-Pampanga)
