China’s Polaris Fireworks is 10th PIPC grand champ

The skies have chosen and this year’s international pyromusical victor is Republic of China’s Polaris Fireworks, the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition committee announced on its grand finale, Saturday at SM City Clark in Pampanga.

Polaris Fireworks is a reputable company from China with over 50 years of experience in the pyrotechnic industry. They have proven their strength in designing and producing great fireworks across the globe with high-quality standard. Polaris Fireworks earned the 2nd runner up spot in 2016 and 2017, 1st runner up in 2018 and champion in 2011.

On the awarding ceremony, Germany’s Stefes-Ollig Feuerwerke bagged the 2nd runner up post with an average of 95 percent.

Next to Germany are United Kingdom’s Pyrotex Fireworx and France’s Brezac Artifices as 1st runner up with an average of 97 percent. The UK was given the Magic Circle award for being a three-time champion.

Capping the final leg of another exemplary PIPC is the exhibition of Poland’s Surex Firma Rodzinna and Philippines’ Platinum Fireworks to the tune of OPM classics like Anak by Freddie Aguilar and Manila by Hotdog.

Thousands of spectators were wowed by the first ever well-coordinated drone dance which changed shapes into ‘10’, ‘PIPC’, ‘smile emoji’, ‘heart’ ‘Philippine Flag’ and ‘SM’.

“To the participating countries that showcased their expertise and artistry here in SM City Clark, thank you for creating a wonderful experience for our audience. Special thanks to Platinum Fireworks Inc. for lighting up the skies of Pampanga and for bringing another world-class and exceptional event. To our dear shoppers, from the bottom of our hearts thank you very much and SM Supermalls is looking forward to see you again next year as we come up with another pyromusical show like no other,” SM Supermalls Chief Operating Officer Steven Tan said.
