CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Police Regional Director PBGen. Rhodel Sermonia reminded the police force of Nueva Ecija to always adhere with the guidelines and proper procedure in the conduct of checkpoints.
“You must uphold the law while giving utmost respect for human rights,” Semonia said as he inspected control points or checkpoints in Nueva Ecija as the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) remains in effect.
About 10,000 police are currently manning a total of 190 control points or checkpoints in boundaries of provinces, cities and towns in Central Luzon.
ECQ, meant to curb the rising number of cases of coronavirus disease, will be implemented in the entire Luzon from March 17 to April 13.
