Converge ‘takes care of heroes,’ donates PPEs

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to frontliners in the fight against the dreaded new coronavirus or Covid-19 which already infected nearly 6,000 Filipinos.

“We know the selfless services of our medical frontliners. We will exert all efforts to protect our frontliners,” said Converge President and CEO Dennis Uy.

On Friday, Uy has donated PPEs to various LGUs in Pampanga and Tarlac provinces. Angeles City received 200 PPEs, Mabalacat City 150 PPEs and the City of San Fernando 150 PPEs.

Also included are the following towns: Porac 100 PPEs; and 50 PPEs each for Apalit, Mexico, Bacolor, Magalang, Arayat, Sta. Ana, Candaba, San Luis, Macabebe, San Simon, Floridablanca, Guagua, Lubao, and Sta. Rita.
Tarlac province also received 300 PPEs.

Last March, Converge also donated 2,000 sacks of rice to 33 barangays of Angeles City after the city enforced the Enhanced Community Quarantine.

Media Consultant Lincoln Baluyut of Converge ICT said the firm will extend further assistance to the community.
