CLARK FREEPORT — The Clark International Airport Corporation projected revenue target for 2018 is pegged at P980-million, key official said in a statement.
CRK, one of the busiest airports in the country with 440 flights a week in both domestic and international, can accomodate 7,000 passengers a day.
Leases from consessionaires and other revenue generating establishments and aviation-related businesses comprise most of the airport’s income.
It was not mentioned in the press statement if the projected target revenue would be met before the year end.
“As of Dec 11 CRK has catered to a total of 2,440,957 passengers,” CRK further stated.
Among airlines flying out of CRK includes Philippine Airlines, QATAR Airways, Emirates, China Eastern, Royal Air, Cathay Dragon, Asiana Airlines, AirAsia, Jetstar, JimAir, alphaland, scoot, and AirSWIFT.
CIAC president & CEO Jaime Alberto C. Melo said there are 90 aviation-related investors currently located at Clark avition complex a record increase as compared to 61 in 2017.
The aviation complex include the aerodrome and logistics facilities.
