In preparation for the opening of SM Telabastagan on May 18, the City Government of San Fernando, through its Public Order and Safety Coordinating Office, will implement a new traffic scheme in the affected areas.
All vehicles exiting SM Telabastagan must turn right going to Sto. Rosario rotonda Angeles City.
Vehicles coming from North going to SM Telabastagan must take U -turn slot fronting Shell Gas station going to SM gate 2 entrance and SM gate 1.
While, vehicles coming from South going to SM Telabastagan must go straight ahead going to SM gate 1 entrance on any available entrance.
In case of heavy traffic, the POSCO will strictly implement No Left Turn policy at Panings intersection for vehicles coming from Fil-Am Friendship road.
All vehicles coming from Fil-Am Friendship road going to Angeles and San Fernando must turn right to Rue De Pare street.
No left turn is allowed at barricade opening for vehicles coming from AC (North) going to Essel Park Subdivision.
All vehicles coming from Essel park subdivision must turn right going to AC while all vehicles coming from San Fernando going to AC shall take Holy Angel Subdivision.
Around 20 traffic personnel will also be deployed in different areas of traffic concern to assist the motorists and avoid any untoward incident.
In an interview, Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago said the traffic scheme for the seventh mall in the city was carefully analyzed with the help of the U.P. National Center for Transportation Studies Foundation, Incorporated.
“Hinihikayat po namin ang lahat ng mga motorista na dadaan sa mga apektadong lugar na sumunod sa mga alituntunin at batas trapiko para mapanatili natin ang kaayusan at kaligtasan sa ating kalsada,” he added.
