The Law Enforcement Department (LED) of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) has caught a snatcher who took the cellphone of a foreigner in broad daylight.
The LED office reported, the 44-year-old Ramil Castro Casino snatched the Iphone X of a foreigner named Lee Shao Kin along Labitan Street near Poco-A-Poco Condotel around 2p.m. on Wednesday.
LED Security Officer Arnel Dimacali took chase of the suspect and radioed for backup.
SWAT officers Lemuel Guan and Alfredo Agustin Jr. joined the chase and apprehended Casino at the corner of Lincoln Street and Waterfront Road near Bldg. 229.
The suspect, a resident of New Cabalan in Olongapo City, was first taken to the Investigation Division of the IIO and then to Police Station 3 in Magsaysay Drive in Olongapo City.
The suspect will be charged with robbery.
