A leaking oxygen cylinder exploded on Saturday evening in San Simon, Pampanga injuring seven workers including a Taiwanese national.
Pampanga Police Director Col Jean Fajardo identified the seven as Taiwanese Chen Chen Chung, Daniel Bognadon, Russell Bondoc, Glenn Gano, Angelito Espiritu, Jerudio Malo, and Jessie Uy. All are workers of the SKK Steel Factory in Barangay Sta. Monica, San Simon.
Only Malo suffered second degree burns and was confined at a hospital in the City of San Fernando.
The Bureau of Fire Protection is now probing the incident.
