Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chair Martin Diño disclosed his proposed development projects for the Freeport Zone amounting to P140 billion.
“SBMA has been one of the foundations of our country in economic growth, job creation and catalyst of national and local development,” he said during the recently concluded Multi-Sectoral Forum on Energy Sector Innovations through the use of Alternative Fuels and Energy Technologies of Department of Energy and Philippine Information Agency.
His proposed projects include are the 25 to 30 kilometer bypass road for cargo trucks connecting Castillejos town in Zambales to Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway, 65 kilometer Subic-Mariveles Highway and the “Green Industrial SBMA” which will need 150,000 employees.
Also, opening of the Subic International Airport and Subic Port, construction of wind turbines as source of alternative energy, and expansion of Tipo Road.
Moreover, he reiterated to help President Rodrigo Duterte in his all-out campaign against criminality and corruption especially in SBMA.
