CLARK FREEPORT ZONE — Clark Freeport Zone will play host this week to the fourth leg of the E-Power Mo Energy Investment Forum and Stakeholders Conference of Department of Energy (DOE).
“This is part of DOE’s continuing effort to invest knowledge and sound information to energy consumers and stakeholders. It will highlight energy programs, opportunities, development plans and policies, financing, and best practices, as well as energy supply and demand outlook,” Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi said.
“E-Power Mo has four guiding principles that summarize President Rodrigo Duterte’s energy policy agenda namely develop and utilize the energy resources available to Filipinos for wealth creation and global competition; undertake safety and savings measures through energy efficiency; secure the delivery of quality, reliable, and affordable energy services; and empower consumers through a wide range of options utilizing conventional, renewable, and alternative energy resources,” Cusi added.
Aside from the plenary, E-Power Mo will have six breakout sessions focusing on Downstream Oil and Natural Gas Sector, Upstream Sector, Renewable Energy Sector, Power Sector, Alternative Fuels and Energy Efficiency Sector, and Consumer Sector.
