DOLE continues to accept applications for CAMP 2

TARLAC CITY –– Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) continues to accept applications for COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program 2 (CAMP 2).

This is a financial assistance worth PhP 5,000 provided to private formal sector workers who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

DOLE Regional Director Maria Zenaida Angara-Campita said there are still allotted funds in the program to be distributed to workers.

“To our kababayans here in Central Luzon especially the distressed companies. If you have reduction in manpower, working hours, and production, we are encouraging you to apply for CAMP 2,” Campita said.

Central Luzon is the region with the second highest budget for CAMP 2 amounting to PhP 1 billion.

According to Campita, only 16.7 percent of the allotted budget has been distributed to formal sector employees.

“To date, there are only 766 establishments composed of 33,438 employees, that have applied for this,” she added.

The process is a lot easier if employers lead the application for their employees.

“For the establishments, employers must submit signed payroll, and if closed permanently, a notice of closure stamped by the local government unit,” she said.

Applications may be sent through https://reports.dole.gov.ph.
