Dope pushing couple, two others nabbed in Bulacan anti-drug sting

CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan — A female drug dealer and his alleged boyfriend were arrested together with two of their customers during a buy-bust operation in a suspected dope den in Bgy. San Rafael IV here Wednesday.

In a report to Bulacan acting police director Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., city police head Supt. Fitz Macariola identified the arrested suspected drug dealers as Myla Ignacio alias “Tisay” and her alleged boyfriend Philip Rempajo alias “Paa”, both residents of Block 11, Lot 47, Bgy. San Rafael IV.

The two customers were identified as Michael dela Cruz and Loyda Gabriel. The four suspects were in the middle of a shabu sniffing session when arrested by the raiding team, Macariola said.

Macariola said the suspected dope dealers are among those listed in the target list of the police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

The couple were nabbed after selling a plastic sachet of shabu to a police undercover agent at the height of the shabu session, he added.

Macariola said a team from the City Drug Enforcement Geoup (CDEG) recovered 5 more plastic sachets of shabu, the marked money used in the buy-bust sting and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Appropriate charges will be filed against the four. –Emil G. Gamos/PNA
