DOT Regional Office to relocate inside Clark Freeport

CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga — Department of Tourism (DOT) Central Luzon signed a lease agreement with Clark Development Corporation (CDC) for its relocation inside Clark Freeport Zone.

CDC President Noel Manankil said the agreement is a testament of their growing partnership to boost the tourism industry inside the Freeport.

“With the growing number of investments and locators inside the Freeport, more businesses especially those of the hospitality industry are expected to rise in 2020 – making Clark a premier tourism and business hub,” he said.

For her part, DOT Regional Director Carolina Uy said their transfer from Robinson’s Place Balibago in February will make their office more accessible to the public.

“It will ensure convenience for the owners of hotels, travel agencies, and other tourism-related enterprises who wish to be accredited by the DOT,” Uy said.

The lease agreement was signed by CDC President Manankil and DOT Regional Director Uy with CDC Vice President for Business Development and Business Enhancement Group Evangeline Tejada and DOT Chief Tourism Operations Officer Avon D. Timbol as witnesses.
