DPWH completes off-carriageway improvement project in Lubao

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed another off-carriageway improvement project in Lubao, Pampanga.

Implemented by Pampanga 2nd District Engineering Office, it will give motorists faster and more convenient travel along the national tertiary road.

District Engineer Gregorio Audea Jr. said the improvement of the KM0085+112-K0085+460 sections of the San Fernando-Lubao Road costs P6.3 million and was funded under the 2022 national budget.

“Construction activities began in April of this year and the project was completed ahead of schedule,” he shared.

Project scope includes upgrading of the 352.75-lineal meter road section and installation of road safety features such as reflectorized thermoplastic pavement markings and single arm posts with street lighting to ensure the safety of both pedestrians and motorists.

Audea assured that they will fast-track the implementation of road improvement projects within their jurisdiction to meet the growing need for better transportation infrastructure.
