The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a P4.8-million water system project in Balanga City, Bataan.

The facility, situated at Sitio Bani in Barangay Cataning, now provides the community, including National Housing Authority residents, with a reliable water supply.

DPWH Bataan 2nd District Engineer Ulysses Llado said he hopes the improved water infrastructure will foster better living conditions and support sustainable development within the community.

“By ensuring dependable water access, families can save time and effort previously spent sourcing water, allowing them to focus on other essential daily activities,” Llado emphasized.

He also noted that the initiative helps reduce the risks of waterborne diseases, thereby improving public health standards in the area.

The project was funded under the 2024 General Appropriations Act. (CLJD/RPQ, PIA Region 3-Bataan)
