CABANATUAN CITY – Over 1,200 improvised face shields were produced by Department of Public Works and Highways Nueva Ecija 1st District Engineering Office meant for frontliners in the battle against coronavirus disease.
“I am touched by our employees’ gesture. In this time of crisis, we’re happy that we could stand up to the call, not only of duty, but of humanitarian service. Indeed, every help – big or small – is badly needed,” District Engineer Gerry de Guzman said.
Recipients include health workers of the Dr. Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center, Talavera General Hospital and Nueva Ecija Doctors Hospital.
Also, Ospital ng Lungsod ng San Jose, San Jose City General Hospital, Guimba District Hospital, Sto. Domingo District Hospital and other pre-identified beneficiaries.
