ORANI, Bataan – Nineteen percent of 2017’s total business registrations came from seven Negosyo Centers (NCs) in the province.
This was confirmed last Wednesday by Tess Magtanong, information officer of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-Bataan) during the Kapihan sa DTI at the Sinagtala Café at the Sinagtala Farm Resort here.
The first Kapihan for this year was led by DTI Bataan OIC provincial director Nelin Cabahug and was joined by her key officials.
Last 2017, DTI Bataan has recorded 5,671 business name registrations wherein 1,061 businesses were registered in seven NC’s of Bataan.
This year, DTI Bataan targets NC’s in Limay and Mariveles to be inaugurated soon.
Meanwhile, 3,158 business bame registrations were from the trading sector, 2,394 from services sector and 119 from the manufacturing sector.
