BALANGA CITY — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) conferred the Suking Tindahan Seal to Sidhay Bataan National High School Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BNHS-MPC).
During the awarding ceremony, BNHS-MPC Chairperson Felicisima Orio committed to intensify their partnership with DTI.
“We commit to sell basic necessities and prime commodities monitored by DTI within the suggested retail price (SRP); carry at least 50 percent of the basic necessities and 50 percent of the prime commodities under the jurisdiction of DTI; comply with trade fair laws; sell other commodities not covered by SRP at reasonable price; and to display the DTI Suking Tindahan Seal and Poster at all times,” Orio said.
DTI Provincial Director Nelin Cabahug disclosed that BNHS-MPC is the third recipient of the Suking Tindahan Seal in Bataan.
“Suking Tindahan aims to promote and recognize local variety stores, wholesalers, and cooperatives that sell basic and prime commodities within or lower than the SRPs,” Cabahug said.
“We hope that this is the start of a better partnership with the cooperative and with the seal, they can accomplish more and provide more opportunities to their members,” she furthered.
