BALANGA CITY – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-Bataan) here announced today that a total of 97 exhibitors will be joining the Balik Eskwela Diskwento Caravan this year including 10 shoemakers from Marikina on May 16, 2018 at the Plaza Mayor de Ciudad de Balanga.
DTI-Bataan information officer, Tess Magtanong told the hosts of “Morning Connections” radio program via Poweradio 104.5 FM that big and popular establishments such as Pandayan Bookshop, Ocampos, All Day Supermarkets, Puregold, Vercons, Savemore, Savers, K Servico, etc. will likewise be joining the rest of Bataan traders in the Caravan.
“Our very own bagmakers will be selling cheap school bags for our students,” Nelin Cabahug, OIC, provincial director of DTI Bataan added.
This year’s Caravan runs on a theme: “Presyong Panalo Para sa Mamimiling Bataeño,”
Meanwhile, the Galing Bataan food processors will again expose their products after the success of Galing Bataan Trade Fair last April 2018 for their consumers but this time discounts will be given following DTI’s main objective for the consuming public to get 10% minimum discount during the caravan.
Cabahug said she expects P1 million worth of sales from these traders.
The Caravan is a joint project of DTI-Bataan and the City Government of Balanga led by Mayor Francis Garcia.
