The winners of the poster making and spoken poetry contest were honored as part of the Consumer Welfare Month celebration with the theme “Sustainable Consumerism in the Digital Age” held at the Traveler’s Hotel in Subic Bay Freeport on October 25.
The winners of the e-Guhit Poster Making contest are (from right) 1st placer Patricia Therese Damaso (San Guillermo National High School, San Marcelino, Zambales); 2nd placer Princess Alliyah Baja Danday (College of Subic Montessori, Subic Bay Freeport) and 3rd place Elyiah Julia Añonuevo (Regional Science High School, Subic Bay Freeport).
In the Spoken Poetry Contest, 1st Placer Denise Abelle Basa (Tapinac Senior High School – Olongapo City) was presented; 2nd Place Emmanuel Tejedor Bahala (College of Subic Montessori – Subic Bay Freeport) and 3rd placer Precious Gatmaitan (Saint Anne Academy – Olongapo City).
The award was given to the winners by DTI-Zambales Provincial Director Enrique Tacbad and Rogelio Castillejo, President of the Olongapo Consumer Affairs Council, in conjunction with the culminating activity of the Consumer Welfare Month celebration and the regular DTI Kapihan forum.
