IBA, Zambales — President Rodrigo R. Duterte has signed into law Republic Act 11015 which renames Ramon Magsaysay Technological University to President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU).
“PRMSU will be expanding its curricular offerings that will provide advance and higher professional, technical and special instructions in education and technology, engineering and architecture, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, and public administration and management,” the law stated.
In addition, it will also offer more courses related to tourism, hospitality and culinary management; humanities, arts and sciences; information and communications technology; maritime education; law and legal management; medicine and health; and peace and security.
PRMSU shall likewise undertake research and extension, and income generation programs for the development of Zambales in particular and the country in general. (CLJD/CJFV-PIA 3)
