Dr. Rolando Pozon, newly-appointed Angeles City Department of Education Superintendent of Schools, checks the first batch of paintings submitted for the DepEd and Rotary Club of Clark Centennial 2023 Children’s Art Competition.
With Dr. Pozon are Jeanniffer R. David-MAPEH Supervisor, Arcely Garcia-SEPS HRD, and Rigie Anne S. Gozon – PDO YFP. Dr. Pozon highlights the importance of the competition in nurturing and encouraging students to develop their art skills and appreciation of the arts. The competition will involve Angeles City’s 53 public schools, making it the largest children’s art competition in the city and probably in Central Luzon.
The winning artists will receive a gift certificate award for art supplies as well as a cash award to encourage them to pursue their love of art.
The Award Ceremony is scheduled on June 17 at the Santungan Cultural Loop, Balibago, Angeles City.
