Newly appointed Undersecretary Atty. Randy Bacolor Escolango take his oath of office before Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development (DHSUD) Executive Secretary Luis Bersamin on Monday July 17.
USec Escolango is a well-rounded public servant who brings years of experience in government service and private practice as a lawyer.
He vowed to serve and deliver only the best for the Department and the Filipino people.
Atty. Escolango is the former Undersecretary of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in 2022 and Deputy Commissioner of the insurance commission.
Before moving to the Insurance Commission in 2017 where he also headed the Legal Services Group, he was Deputy Administrator of legal Affairs of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) and had a stint as Officer-in-Charge of the said Government Owned and Controlled Corp. (GOCC).
His other engagement in and out of government service Undersecretary Escolango was an Officer of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxillary (PCGA) where he is a Rear Admiral.
He is also the President of New Era University Alumni Association, Inc. member of the International Bas Association, and Certified Treasury Professional.
