CLARK FREEPORT – Two former mayors of the City of San Fernando are supporting the mayoralty bid of Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) president Vilma Caluag.
“The fact that Mayors Oca and Rey are campaigning for me is more than enough,” said Caluag, referring to former Mayors Reynaldo “Rey” Aquino and Oscar “Oca” Rodriguez. She was the guest of the recent forum hosted by the Capampangan In Media Inc. (CAMI).
Caluag said both Rodriguez and Aquino publicly raised her hands to express their support. Aside from being former three-term mayors, they
were also former congressman representing the third district of Pampanga.
Caluag, a businesswoman and barangay captain of Dolores, said she will establish a comprehensive health care if she wins in the elections. He added that she will create a dialysis center.
Caluag of the Lakas party said see will provide burial assistance to residents of the city. She will also seriously address the problem on
flooding and traffic.
Caluag said she will have adhere to good governance and transparency.
