HERMOSA, Bataan – A former mayoralty candidate of this first class town was found dead this afternoon along with his live-in partner in two houses in two separate villages here.
Initial report from Hermosa MPS identified the fatality as Dr. Christian Cruz, 39.
Christian is the son of former Hermosa Mayor Efren J. Cruz who ran for mayor but lost to former Danilo Malana in 2010. He was found lifeless at their house in Barangay Palihan.
Meanwhile, Dr. Cruz’s live-in partner, later identified as Larlyn Belleza, was also found dead in another house owned by the Cruz Family in Barangay Mambog.
Personnel from the Bataan Crime Laboratory and Hermosa municipal police station processed the crime scene.
Belleza was found in the state of decomposition while Dr. Cruz was said to be rushed to a nearby hospital but later declared dead on arrival by attending physician.
Statements from relatives and friends revealed that the couple were undergoing financial difficulties for several months.
The police is still doing deeper investigations on the said case.
