Fasttrack ‘legacy projects’: RDC

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Regional Development Council (RDC) called for the immediate completion of “legacy projects” in Central Luzon.

“To sustain growth and address the foregoing development challenges, we need to continue building our infrastructure base to accelerate connectivity and linkages, for food security, human capital development, disaster resiliency, energy, industrial growth and urban development,” RDC Chairperson and Angeles City Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan said during the 1stQuarter Full Council Meeting.

These projects include the Clark International Airport New Terminal Building, New Clark City-National Government Administrative Center, MRT Line 7, Philippine National Railways Clark Phase 1 and Phase 2, Central Luzon Link Expressway, and the Cavite-Bataan Interlink Bridge.

Pamintuan said these projects will further bolster the growth of the region and empower people in the communities.

With this, Pamintuan encouraged the council to be bold in making a large dent on the social and economic challenges in the region and realize the dream of attaining a decent quality of life for the people.

“Together, let us work for a better Central Luzon, towards a strong, comfortable and stable life for our fellow Filipinos,” he added.
