CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — A female ‘visitor’ was arrested inside the Pampanga Provincial Jail (PPJ), Capitol Compound on Thursday afternoon yielded ‘shabu’ in one plastic sachet.
Retired Colonel Edwin Mangiliman, PPJ warden, identified the suspect as Anicorn Magat, 22, a mother of two children from Barangay San Jose, this city.
The suspect was about to visit her partner and sibling who were both inmates inside the jail at around 2:40 in the afternoon when two jail guards noticed something suspicious inside her undergarment.
The guards then conducted body search to Magat and found one piece of transparent plastic sachet with white crystal substance containing suspected “shabu” and cash money worth P1,400 inside her wallet hidden in her bra.
The suspect disclosed that one inmate ‘ordered’ the suspected ‘shabu’ worth P500 adding that she often visits her partner and sibling twice a week for almost two years now.
Magat was arrested for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. –Leslie Anne Mahusay
