City of San Fernando — Firecracker vendors here on Wednesday have attended a safety orientation program as the city government implements President Rodrigo Duterte’s Executive Order No. 28 providing for the regulation and control of the use of firecrackers and other pyrotechnic devices.
In this course, the city also designated firecrackers and pyrotechnic devices selling areas located in Brgy. San Juan and Brgy. Baliti.
Also discussed during the orientation were the fire safety measures and other concerns on business permit applications.
The activity was spearheaded by City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer and Public Order and Safety Coordinator Raymond Del Rosario, City Fire Marshal Chief Inspector Roderick Marquez, Business License and Permit Division Chief Joseph Garcia, Traffic Management Division Chief Danilo Bautista and Compac 1 Commander Police Senior Inspector Louie Sason.
