Bataan Governor Albert S. Garcia on Thursday shared his vision of a more progressive Bataan via major infrastructure projects for 2020-2021 with the directors of the Dept. of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 3.
In a meeting held yesterday at the Bunker at the Capitol, the governor discussed some of the proposed projects including the construction of flyovers on intersections along the stretch of Roman Super Highway, and the building of a Convention Center.
Gov. Garcia also reiterated the need for Bataan to be prepared for the possible influx of traffic once the Bataan-Cavite bridge becomes operational.
To date, the said bridge projects got the biggest fundings from the national government tagged as one of the priority projects of the Duterte administration.
The Bataan-Cavite interlink bridge which measures 32 kilometers from Mariveles, Bataan to Naic, Cavite costs more than P180 billion.
