ANGELES CITY – Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda has lauded the iOrbitNews Team for “bringing timely, relevant and factual information to the people” during the 6.1 magnitude earthquake that struck the province killing 16.
In her letter of gratitude date April 24, 2019, Pineda said “as a magnitude 6.1 quake hit the Province of Pampanga last Monday (April 22) where infrastructure, public and private establishments and even churches collapsed, people were injured and lost lives – your media outlet and online news portal has been the partner of the Provincial Government in bringing timely, relevant and factual information to the people especially in this time of need.”
“With this, I would like to thank you all for extending your media services and upholding the true essence of social responsibility to the Kapampangans. Thank you for helping us eliminate fake news that will add fear, panic and stress to the people,” said Pineda.
“Without you, there will be no bridge to connect us to the people for them to stay well, alert and well informed.”
