CITY OF SAN FERNANDO- Third District Board Member Rosve Henson distributed yesterday P300,000 scholarship grants to 100 scholars from the five towns of the province.
Funded by the provincial government, the student-recipients received P3,000 each. Assisting the Board member during the distribution are the staff of Provincial
Treasurer’s Office (PTO).
The board member advised the scholars to have a burning desire to finish their schooling, and strive hard to get a good grades.
He added, “Education is a great equalizer. What you learn in school you cannot learn outside, but what will you learn outside and what will you learn in school that is define you as individual.”
Kaimo Algean, one of the scholars said, “This is just a small amount of money, but this is a big help from the students to finish their schoolings.”
