Hizon showboat blocked in Lubao village

A showboat of gubernatorial bet Jomar Hizon was prevented from entering Barangay Sta. Maria, Lubao town on Sunday.

Hizon told iOrbitNews his showboat was cruising the streets of Barangay Sta. Maria, Lubao when a motorcycle riding man stopped the campaign vehicle. The unidentified man who claimed to be a Barangay Kagawad of Sta. Maria told them to leave the village. The Sta. Maria Barangay Captain allegedly instructed the kagawad to prevent Hizon’s showboat from entering the barangay.

The driver of Hizon’s showboat immediately left Barangay Sta. Maria fearing for his safety.

Hizon is running for Pampanga governor while his siblings — City of San Fernando Councilor Angie Hizon is running for Vice Mayor of San Fernando and younger brother Dereck Hizon is running for mayor of Bacolor.

Hizon has vowed to improve delivery of public service at the provincial capitol if he clinches the governorship.

  1. Every candidate has the right to enter any barangay or place within his jurisdiction be it a bulwark of his/her opponent.
