HK travel execs to meet DOT officials

KOWLOON CITY, Hong Kong – Holiday World Tours Ltd. (HWTL) executives have announced that 70 travel officials from Hong Kong will arrive in the country today (Nov. 17) for a 3-day visit.

This came after President Rodrigo Duterte recently renewed the country’s partnership with China and the Hong Kong government.

HWTL managing director Paul Y. L. Leung over the week confirmed to Pampanga Media the scheduled visit of the travel executives from Hong Kong on November 17 to 19 wherein they will meet Tourism Secretary Wanda Corazon Teo.

Leung said the visit aims to discuss tourism prospects and establish a long-term relationship in exploring the tourism aspects of both countries.

According to Leung, they are now aggressively promoting Hong Kong to boost the retail and tourism sectors. He said this will increase the competitiveness and attractiveness of the city.

Leung also cited Cebu Pacific Air for its aggressive promotions to bring tourists into this city.

HWTL, which was established and incorporated in 1980, has successfully been catering to both inbound and outbound business.
