Photo shows the 14 hino dump trucks intended for the use of barangays remained in the city hall compound 60 days after the other 19 Hino dump trucks were distributed to the administration’s ally barangay chiefs. The remaining 14 trucks are kept as “hostage” since the recipient barangays chiefs are openly endorsing an opposition as the next City Mayor. Reports have it that the dump trucks as well as the real property tax share and P100,000 aid to barangay funds are being used as “leverage” for the administration’s candidate for city mayor to secure the support of the “uncooperative” 14 barangay chiefs.
