MANILA — Humid weather, isolated rain showers will prevail over most parts of the archipelago on Thursday as the easterlies affect the eastern section of the country.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) weather specialist Sam Duran said Luzon will experience humid weather.
Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands, however, will have isolated rain showers due to the the northeasterly surface windflow affecting extreme Northern Luzon. The rest of Luzon have a low chance to experience rains, he added.
Isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms may be experienced over Visayas and Mindanao.
He also said there is no low pressure area currently inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow over the northern section of Northern Luzon, where coastal waters will be moderate to rough.Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, Duran said. (PNA)
