iOrbitNews Online, the first online news portal in the Luzon Island, will open its bureau in the United States in the 2nd quarter of 2017.
iOrbitNews Online Founder Diosdado Pangilinan will leave tomorrow, September 23 to meet with various news organizations and publishers in the US. Pangilinan is the current President of the Pampanga Press Club, the oldest news organization in the Philippines.
“The transition to online news is unstoppable with the advent of new technology. Technology is making the world smaller and the way we communicate news all over the world is now only in our fingertips,” said Pangilinan.
Pangilinan will meet publishers in San Francisco, California; Houston, Texas; New York and Florida.
“The US bureau is the first step toward a bigger plan to open up news bureaus in the Middle East and Europe,” according to Pangillinan, who also founded the Balacat News. The iOrbitNews bureau in the US will be located in San Francisco, CA.
