Philippine Embassy in Baghdad Chargé d’Affaires Elmer G. Cato on Tuesday receives 19-year-old Farah Naseer Ali Haddad, Iraq’s candidate for the Miss Asia-Pacific beauty pageant to be held in Puerto Princesa next week. The Iraqi beauty from Baghdad will be the second Iraqi to participate in an international beauty pageant since 1972. Just a few weeks ago, Sozy Al-Sulaymani, participated in the Miss Earth contest in Manila while a third, Shaymaa Qasim, will compete in the Miss Universe beauty pageant to be held also in the Philippines in January.
