Authentic Kapampangan cuisine is making waves in Florida, USA courtesy of a father and daughter team from Angeles City.
Kapampangan chef Maricel Alfonso Hadden of Saint Petersburg, Florida – just near Tampa – is making a name for herself in the local food scene. And why not, she and her father, Antonio Alfonso of the Rib Eye’s Alfonso family brought in their culinary experience to the good old US of A – in the ‘Sunshine State’ of Florida.
Maricel or “Celcel” finished her Business Administration and Entrepreneurship at the Angeles University Foundation in 2004 and took up Masters in Business Administration at the University of Phoenix. Celcel, who grew up in the food business back in the Phillippines, has opened Noah’s Filipino Cuisines in Florida and now serves clients in the East Coast.
