KKPK celebrates 7th founding anniversary

City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Members of Kapampangan Ku Pagmaragul Ku International Incorporation (KKPK) celebrated their 7th Founding Anniversary recently at Villa Barosa’s Multi-Purpose Hall.

Volunteers, administrators, and individuals from different places gathered together at the hall and commemorated the group’s achievements over the years.

The event included parlor games followed by raffle draws and contests – the search for Mr. and Miss KKPK and a singing competition.

To conclude the event, administrators laid out the group’s upcoming missions at Tarlac Home for Women and DSWD LingapCenter.

KKPK is a non-government organization which seeks to extend help to those who are in need. The common beneficiaries of the group are selected institutions, less fortunate and ill persons. It is composed of benefactors and donors from various places in Pampanga, Tarlac, Bulacan, and even from other countries like Dubai and USA. To unite Kapampangans is another ultimate goal of KKPK.

Although it has encountered a lot of setbacks, KKPK has been going strong for seven years, and even pioneered and influenced other existing small groups around Pampanga in adapting KKPK’s practices, according to Glenn Gueco, an active member of KKPK.

“I am happy that we reached this stage, and we do hope that our group will stand despite anything that may hinder our way,” says Jenielyn Regala, admin and wife of KKPK Founder Jetlee Tiongco. –Camille A. Aquino
