Korean Air offers US-Clark flights

A Korean Air executive said US passengers particularly Filipino-Americans can now take flights that will take them directly to the Clark International Airport.

Korean Air is currently operating flights from US to Manila and Cebu.

Korea Air Los Angeles Manager Alan Fan said “Clark will be a great choice. Clark will be a much more convenient airport that you arrive into go through immigration and customs.”

Fan said he had received reports that Manila and Cebu is congested and a constant hassle to passengers.

US passengers can get to the three Philippines airports – Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), Cebu-Mactan International Airport and Clark International Airport — from multiple cities in the US mainland.

“We have the most gateways out of the United States, we have 15 gateways out of North America and of course our hub in Incheon. From Incheon we go two flights a day to Manila, one flight per day to Cebu, and one flight now to Clark so that should be the best choice, most convenient schedule into the Philippines out of the United States.”Clark will soon have its modern Terminal that is expected service millions of passengers coming from all over the world.

Filipinos had been urging Clark airport authorities to launch direct flights between Clark and the US mainland.
